APA Hotel Aomori Ekihigashi

Staff very patient and kind, and facilities both clean and comfortable. Also very close to Aomori Station and downtown area, so very convenient location!

Awesome location

The bathroom was a little old and outdated, but very clean.

This hotel was within walking distance to the train station. It is only a block from the shops and including many numbers of restaurants. The room was small (however we were probably advised of this when we booked but I am not good at knowing the square meters of rooms). We did manage to store our suitcases under to bed. The Cleaning staff were working so hard to ensure the rooms were excellently presented.Breakfast was excellent with so much to choose from.

Clean room well equipped but small. Fantastic location and convenient to all the sites. Nice people!

very small room but this was expected, what really sucked is that the bed and the pillows were too hard, was tough to sleep and it was causing back pain

Location was excellent, near station, shopping, cultural sites, food options.Our room had a window overlooking a Lawsons outlet (excellent for supplies late at night or great sandwiches early morning before catching our train to wherever.) and the mountains and seafront. And snow feet thick everywhere.

Clean new hotel

Smallest room we've seen in years of travelling in Japan.

1) Great location, conveniently located near most of the restaurants and popular sightseeing spots2) The room is very clean

Good location to the station and places to eat.

Room was very small, with very little floor space. The mattress seemed to be to big for the base and slopped to one side.

The hotel is located very close to Aomori station. There is a convenience store nearby and a few great izakayas for night outs. Great value for the price.

The walls are a bit thin. You can clearly hear people talking outside of your room and walking around late at night.

It's the affordability and closest hotel to the station. It doesn't have a cigarette smell on my level and in the room.

This isn't the first APA hotel I had stayed but it will definitely be my last. The steps in front of the hotel. I couldn't find a slope to push my luggage up. The bathroom had cracks on the wall. The elevator is reeked of cigarette smell. The entire hotel is in heater mode when it isn't that cold to begin with. The fans were taken up by other hotel guests.

The room decoration and facilities met my expectations, it was need and tidy.

It was a tragedy for two ladies carrying big and heavy luggage to climb the hotel stairs to proceed with a check in. I think they shall build a path more user friendly for the disabled and for wheel luggage.

Great location, close to the station and the main street, yet it's still nice and quiet.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not a lot of space,very cramped

The mattress was almost worn out on the edge as it must be constantly used as a chair due to lack of space to sit elsewhere. Felt like you are falling out of bed if you slept on that outside.

The staff helped me alot with ordering a pizza which i could not do alone. The hotel design was a bit old school and the room was a bit small. But it answered all our needs, so no problem there!

Location nearby the rental car and shopping street.

No air condition. There is central control air condition, which is always heater.

Centralised air conditioning to save money, jacked up prices on weekends but partly due to an autumn peak timing I presume, only 2 washers and 2 dryers, waited 4 hours before it was available

Hotel was fine generally, tidy and in a good location and the staff great, but the room was much too hot and this could not be adjusted. Never again!

I have travelled across Japan and stayed in many hotels. This is the first where the tiny room was locked at 27-28 degrees C and the staff said they could not do anything about it. Literally a sauna. They offered me a fan. It was the worst nights sleep ever in Japan. Maybe just a couple of very sweaty hours. If I tried to open a window, mosquito's swarmed in. Money badly spent.
